Lessons learnt (so far) in building a human genomics data commons

On the 25th of May 2022, EOAR hosted Dr Jeff Christiansen and Assoc Prof Bernie Pope from the Australian BioCommons. During their presentation, Jeff and Bernie spoke about the genomics data landscape in human genomics both nationally and internationally. We also heard about the lessons that have been learnt so far in establishing the Australian Cardiovascular Data Commons, including issues relating to technology and infrastructure; authentication and authorisation; governance; and security.
